RunSTRONG 5K – Why you should sponsor!
Generation Care and its RunSTRONG® program will be hosting their third annual RunSTRONG 5K road race on Friday, July 12 at 7:00. The race will begin and end near the Generation Care clinic on Lincoln Street in Grand Haven. The course is USATF certified and all levels are encouraged to participate – elite to beginner and first timers! There will also be a Tot Trot at 6:45 PM and post-race party until sunset. Last year, we raised over $3,000 to support MyTEAM TRIUMPH! This year, all proceeds will benefit the North Ottawa Community Health System (NOCHS) Pediatric Rehabilitation Program and will help support costs for treatment equipment and provide scholarships for children with special needs who cannot afford their rehabilitation. Medial insurance simply does not cover all the needs of children with sensory processing disorders, genetic disorders or developmental challenges. We are seeking sponsors for this year’s race and need your help! By becoming a sponsor of our event, your business can help support our cause while gaining exposure in the Grand Haven community. There are 4 different levels of sponsorship available – ranging from $100 to $1000 and each level includes different ways to promote your business. Please contact us for more information! If your business is unable to sponsor at this time, please consider joining us at our RunSTRONG event as a runner, walker, volunteer, or cheerleader. All hands on deck will be appreciated. We believe deeply in the power of volunteerism and community service, and we are super excited to host this awesome event! If you would like more information about becoming a sponsor, please contact Lauren L’Huillier at our Grand Haven office or Melanie Danklefsen at our Muskegon office. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer at our event, please contact Tom Pallas at our Muskegon office. If you would like to register to participate in the event, you may register online at https://generationcare.org/runstrong-5k/ or visit any of our clinics to register in person.
