RunSTRONG by Generation Care is a strength and conditioning program designed specifically for runners to decrease injury risk and improve performance!
Offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-6:50 PM at our Grand Haven clinic location, and beginning in November 2017, on Thursday evenings at 6 PM at our Muskegon location, our RunSTRONG classes are taught by qualified instructors. As Doctors of Physical Therapy, former collegiate level runners, and current competitive runners, our leaders for RunSTRONG are passionate about injury prevention and performance enhancement.
This class will help build strength and stability specific to runners will improve your running performance, decrease your risk of injury, boost your metabolism, and increase your overall energy level. Generation Care therapists, Scott McKeel PT, DPT, CSCS, and Lauren L’Huillier PT, DPT, who are both former collegiate runners, teach the class in Grand Haven. Melanie Danklefsen, DPT, also a former collegiate runner, teaches the Muskegon location class.
Cost: $25 per month for one class per week or $50 per month for 2 classes per week. Drop in cost is $10 per class.
RunSTRONG Annual 5k
In July 2017, RunSTRONG by Generation Care held their 1st Annual 5k to benefit the Pediatric Rehab Program in partnership with North Ottawa Community Health System. This annual, competitive 5k race is open to walkers, runners, and families with children.
