Have A Heart For Kids—An Event You Can’t Miss
A Personal Invitation from David Eilers, Pediatric Team Leader for Generation Care
Generation Care’s “Have A Heart For Kids” event is rounding the corner and we want you to attend! This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss out on. Why should you attend?
Find resources within your community
Over 20 organizations from within our community will be in attendance, such as the Down Syndrome Association, Autism Association, and Family Hope Foundation. If you are looking for support from a community that understands you and your child, you may want to come out and meet members of the different families and organizations! There will be a service-provider meet-and-greet, adaptive equipment information and support group information.
We wouldn’t let the kids get bored! There will be many activities for both the kids and the parents including outdoor games, prizes, and snacks. And the best for last, service animals! Get the kids excited to see a miniature horse and therapy dogs – they will be able to sit down and read with them, too!
Information about resources in the community should be accessible to ALL. That’s why we are keeping this event absolutely FREE! We want this event to be the one-stop-shop for information and support for families with special needs children. Come have a good time and find all the information you need to help you and your child.
We hope to see you at our Have A Heart For Kids event on Saturday, February 24th from 10 AM – 12 PM. Have A Heart For Kids will be held at 1015 S Beacon Blvd in Grand Haven.
